Just a little collection of things we love in Japan, and wanted to share with you. There's no real theme here, a food worth trying, a coffee shop we keep going back to, a neighborhood we loved wandering.

- Tsukemen Food
Ramen's cousin: the noodles come separately from a thick, intense dipping broth, so you dunk each bite as you go. Rich, a little messy, and completely worth it.
- Okonomiyaki Food
A savory griddled pancake packed with cabbage and whatever else you like, pork, seafood, cheese, finished with sauce, bonito flakes, and mayo. Osaka and Hiroshima each have their own style, and both are a good time.
